How to get there
Cayman AirwaysThe Cayman Islands lie 480 miles south of Miami, 150 miles south of Cuba and 180 miles northwest of Jamaica.
BA is the only carrier that flies direct from the UK. These flights are currently every Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday. These are direct flights, but are not non-stop. There is an hour touchdown at Nassau, Bahamas each way. BA offers a choice of three classes, World Traveller, World Traveller Plus and Club Class. The total flight time is 12 hours.
The national flag carrier is Cayman Airways. They fly between Grand Cayman and the following countries
•USA - Miami, Tampa, Chicago, New York and Washington DC
•Jamaica - Kingston and Montego Bay
•Cuba - Havana
Cayman Airways also flies between Grand Cayman, Cayman Brac and Little Cayman
You can use Cayman Airways if you choose to fly Virgin into Miami.
Air Jamaica also connects Jamaica to Grand Cayman, with services from both Montego Bay and Kingston.
Cubana Airlines has a service from Havana
Delta Airlines operate a daily service between Grand Cayman and Atlanta.
Continental Airlines fly every Saturday between Newark and Grand Cayman.
American Airlines fly from Miami
Northwest Airlines have seasonal flights from Detroit
US Airways fly from Charlotte, North Carolina
Air Canada has a non stop flight from Toronto. The frequency depends on the season.
Finally Grand Cayman is connected to South America by the Islena service to Honduras.
